
The mission of the Adult Congenital Heart Association is to improve and extend the lives of the millions born with heart defects through education, advocacy and the promotion of research. Founded in 1998, the Adult Congenital Heart Association is an organization begun by and dedicated to supporting individuals and families living with congenital heart disease and advancing the care and treatment available to our community.


Friends of Glen Providence Park is an all-volunteer organization working to preserve and enhance the natural and historical resource of the 33-acre Glen Providence Park, donated in 1935 as a bird sanctuary and arboretum. They hold monthly events throughout the year, including nature walks, volunteer days, and a summer Arts in the Park performance series. All events are free and family-friendly

501(c)3 Community Organization since 2009. Manages and hosts the annual Media 5 Mile Race and Children’s Fun Runs. Always the 3rd Friday evening in June – Rain or Shine. Supports other local non profits service the greater Media Community. Brings Runners of all abilities to a great community event.

The Media Arts Council works to actively support local artists and integrate a wide range of arts into the life of the entire community. MAC aims to inspire and cultivate the arts within our region, helping to make Media, PA an arts destination.
The Media Arts Council operates the only art gallery in Media, the Media Arts Center & Gallery. At the Media Arts Center & Gallery community members of all ages can participate in art classes & workshops, hear live music, view the work of local artists and more.

The Media Fellowship House is an organization that was formed in 1944, after two African American women and a baby were not served at a restaurant in town. Two white women who witnessed the discrimination took them to a different restaurant where they all were served. Media Fellowship House was born that day and continues to promote fellowship and understanding between diverse cultures and generations.

The Media Food Bank, a longtime ministry of First Church Media, provides food and other essential items to support Delaware County individuals and families in need. To get food, make a donation (financial or in-kind), organize a food drive or volunteer, please visit the website for details.

The Media Youth Center (MYC), located in Media, Pennsylvania provides a safe environment for youth to expand their minds, grow their bodies and have fun. We offer a variety of recreational and educational programs for youth in addition to partnership opportunities with the community.

The Media Historical Society of Media, Pa is a not-for-profit volunteer organization established in the 1970s to promote and celebrate the history of The Minshall House, and to maintain the structure and its gardens. It does this primarily by focusing on community fundraising events, issuing publications, maintaining a website, and partnering with other local historical societies and groups.

Surrey Services for Seniors is a non-profit organization offering a variety of programs, activities and support services designed to enable older adults to continue living with dignity and independence in their homes and engage them as vital, contributing members of the community.

Values Into Action-PA offers personalized supports to people with disabilities. Its goal is to help individuals living with disabilities design and plan for their future based on their hopes, dreams and values; in turn, helping each person to realize themselves as a fully engaged and empowered citizens making communities richer and stronger. Values-PA’s expert team works in true partnership with persons to build and sustain a support system tailored to their wants and needs — identifying family and community resources and taking full advantage of traditional resources.
