Fitness At 5 East is an intimate personal training studio owned by George Loving. After receiving a Bachelors Degree from Duquesne University, George headed for Los Angeles where he submerged himself in a culture of health and fitness, and began his own personal training journey.
After spending five years in L.A., George returned to Philadelphia to open his first successful gym. FItness At 5 East is a complete culmination of George’s experience in health, fitness, mind/body connection and most importantly, relationships.

The Media Fellowship House is an organization that was formed in 1944, after two African American women and a baby were not served at a restaurant in town. Two white women who witnessed the discrimination took them to a different restaurant where they all were served. The Pennsylvania Veterans Museum is housed in the historical Media Armory. It opened in 2005 and contains a huge collection of military artifacts and memorabilia, as well as a Korean War Exhibit and a Vietnam War Exhibit. Interactive touchscreens contain personal interviews from local veterans who served in the wars the United States participated in. The Museum is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and admission is free. This is definitely something you should see visiting downtown Media.
