About this Month’s Workshop: Ekphrastic Poetry Workshop with Prof. Konigsberg
The workshop will focus on paying attention to the ways color, shapes, and stories surface from a painting or work of art. We will look at various images and using group prompts, generate some poems.
The work will be done by hand on paper.
About the Featured Poet: Lisa Naomi Konigsberg is an Assistant Professor of Composition and Rhetoric at West Chester University going in her 16th year there. She has taught writing at the college level for over 20 years. Her poetry has been published in various journals including Moonstone Poetry Ink and Cimmaron Review. She taught poetry workshops at Gwynedd Mercy and writing courses at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Delaware County Community College, Rutgers University, Community College of Philadelphia, and Widener. She lives in Media, PA.
