To kick off the Garden Tour weekend, Transition Town Greater Media (TTGM) and the Media Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) will host a Pollinator Fest on Sat, May 18th, 9-11AM at the Media Pollinator Garden, 4th & Monroe St.
Enjoy the new Spring growth in the Pollinator Garden and learn how to create beautiful habitats for our precious bees, birds, and butterflies. Hear all about the exciting planting activity that’s going on in Greater Media. We’ll have information on our Bee City and Bird Town initiatives and our Green Wagon and Habitat Helpers projects, on using mosquito dunks instead of harmful chemical spraying, and on electric leaf blowers.
