55th Anniversary Book Sale April 26 – 28
With three floors of books, magazines, DVD, games and collectibles, Media Upper Providence Free Library is celebrating 55 years of its renowned book sales with a spring sale that promises to be the best yet. One of the biggest book sales of its kind on the East Coast, the sale runs 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday and 9:30 am to 6 pm on Monday. Over 30,000 books and thousands of additional items will be for sale, spread across three floors of the Library.
Sale items include hardback, paperback, and coffee table books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, puzzles, games, sheet music, and vintage & ephemera things. The sale items are donated throughout the year by residents in and around Media and Upper Providence. Most items are priced between $1-$3 on Saturday and are half price on Sunday. Monday is $5 bag day. All proceeds benefit the Media-Upper Providence Free Library.
