Support the economic growth of the entire Media Borough Business Community.
Improve and encourage the improvement of the visual impact of the Borough of Media’s business districts.
Promote both the business districts and the Media community with events that enhance the quality of life of the entire community.
The maintenance of a communication link between the civic and business communities of Media Borough is essential.
A healthy business community projects a positive image to the general public and encourages people to live, shop, dine and do business in Media Borough.
How we work
Our Principles
We will pursue economic growth by qualifying for grants, encouraging tax revenue collection, expanding programs, and exploring financing through cooperative institutions, parking strategies, and business sponsorships. To strengthen visual impact, we will support facade and streetscape rehabilitation, encourage quality displays, promote cleanliness, and assist in enforcing ordinances related to littering and signage. We will enhance community life by evaluating and establishing guidelines for business district events, pursuing new cultural and recreational activities, and soliciting promotional partnerships to fund additional promotions. Finally, we will keep business members informed of relevant services and opportunities while maintaining open communication with Borough Council.
